Standard thresholds: voice support 25–35 WPM; chat/email support 35–50 WPM; senior chat agents and technical support 55–65 WPM; back-office data entry 45–60 WPM. Most major BPOs (Concentrix, Teleperformance, TaskUs, Sutherland, Accenture Manila) use the 3-minute format with a 95%+ accuracy floor. The default 3-minute test below is exactly what you'll see in most Philippine BPO hiring assessments. Filipino candidates have a structural advantage in English-language typing — extensive English-language schooling means the most common 500 English words are deeply familiar.
