Why this test matters
The 2-minute mark is where most typists' real working WPM emerges. The first 60 seconds reward focus; the second 60 seconds expose stamina. If your 1-minute and 2-minute scores are within 5 WPM, your typing is stable and predictable. If your 2-minute score is 10+ WPM lower than your 1-minute, you're sprinting then crashing โ which means deliberate slow practice will help more than speed drills.
