BPO job requires 50 WPM, I currently type 42. How fast can I realistically improve?

I've got an interview in three weeks for a customer service role and the typing test requirement is 50 WPM with 90% accuracy. I currently average around 42 WPM with 88% accuracy. Is it realistic to get there in three weeks? What should my daily practice look like?

Three weeks at 42 → 50 WPM is doable but tight. I went 38 → 55 in a month when I had the same situation. Daily plan that worked: (1) 15 min warm-up on 1-minute tests, (2) 20 min on the words that come up in customer service (use a CS-vocabulary practice list), (3) 10 min focused drill on your worst 5 keys. Most BPO tests use predictable vocabulary — use that.

Accuracy first, speed second. Their 90% accuracy requirement is the harder bar. If you can hit 95% at 42 WPM consistently, the speed will come — pushing speed at the expense of accuracy will tank your test.
